We had a great turnout today in Johnston County as U.S. Senate Nominee Michael Whatley joined N.C. Senator Benton Sawrey and Congressman Brad Knott to talk about restoring law and order in our state.

In North Carolina’s U.S. Senate race, Michael Whatley is the only candidate with a plan to support law enforcement, hold criminals accountable, and keep our communities safe.

WORLD CHAMPIONS! 🏆🥎

Johnston County Little League has captured the 2026 Little League Softball World Series title! These young athletes represented our community with tremendous skill, determination, and class. Johnston County could not be prouder — congratulations, champions!

It was the team's second straight shutout, having blanked Lake Mary, Florida, 4-0 on Saturday to reach the title game.

The Johnston County Republican Party is proud to endorse John Langdon and Dewitt Hardee for re-election as Johnston County Soil & Water Conservation District Supervisors.

This board helps protect our soil, water and farmland while supporting local farmers and landowners. Johnston County needs supervisors with knowledge of agriculture and conservation — not candidates learning the job after being elected.

John and Dewitt are experienced supervisors with deep roots in Johnston County agriculture. They understand the county’s needs and have proven their commitment to our farming community.

The Johnston GOP is alerting residents to a warning (also issued by the North Carolina State Board of Elections) concerning voter registration mailings from a private organization called “Ready to Register, Inc.”

Although the envelope may appear official and request “immediate action,” Ready to Register is not affiliated with any government agency. Receiving this mailing does not necessarily mean that you are unregistered or that there is a problem with your voter registration.

If you receive one of these mailings:

✅ Do not panic.
✅ If you are already registered at your current address, you do not need to take any action and may discard it.
✅ Verify your registration directly through the State Board’s official Voter Search tool: https://vt.ncsbe.gov/RegLkup/
✅ If you have questions about your registration, contact the Johnston County Board of Elections at 919-989-5095 or [email protected].

We encourage every Johnston County voter to rely on official state and county election resources when checking or updating voter registration information.
