There is a trash collection delay in the area highlighted in yellow. WM will be collecting the missed area on Thursday, 9/10. There was a mechanical issue with one of the trucks.

Smithfield Veteran’s Memorial
Deerfield Park

The Honor Watch begins at 8:30 AM as we recall the events of September 11th at the moments that they occurred.

At 9:05 AM, we will begin the speaking portion of the ceremony, which includes the laying of a wreath at the War on Terror marker at the memorial.

Light refreshments will be served after.

If you are unable to attend the ceremony on Friday morning, a canopy and memorial book will be set-up at 10:30AM and will remain until 10:30AM September 12th. Those wishing may visit the marker anytime after the ceremony for reflection or to share your thoughts about September 11th, 2001.
