The Village of Smithboro is accepting sealed bids for the following surplus items: a 2008 Bobcat 325G mini excavator, a 16-foot 2007 Cronkhite trailer, and a truck bed toolbox. Interested parties may schedule an appointment to view the items by contacting Angie at 618-704-5180.
Sealed bids must be received by 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026. The successful bidder will be notified on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Bids should be submitted to:

A Burn Ban is now in Effect for the Smithboro Fire Protection District and all of Bond County. Conditions are favorable again for outdoor burning to spread quickly. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation.
