Military-Veterans Advocacy is on Capitol Hill today, meeting with Rep. John Garamendi, Sen. Richard Blumenthal and Rep. Joe Wilson.

MVA is bringing veterans’ concerns directly to Congress and advocating for stronger protections, expanded toxic-exposure coverage, improved treatment options and the benefits our nation’s veterans and military families have earned.

Advocates are now urging the VA to establish Gulf War Illness as its own disability within the VA rating system. While this would be a significant step forward, it is important to know that the change has not yet been adopted.
