A public charter school is a school of choice that: costs nothing for tuition, must be open to students of all abilities (no admission requirements, special ed./needs) and is highly accountable.

Hot days like today are good days for ice cream! In Ms. Muzzy and Ms. Damren's math class, learners have been exploring fractions and measurement. What better way to practice than with real life mixing skills and homemade ice cream!!

After teaching themselves how to install the display arm, our learners used our large Cintiq art tablets to develop their art skills. ALL of our learners at CRCS have access to the complete Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop and Illustrator. If your child's a designer, come tour CRCS to learn how they can pursue their passion!

At CRCS, our early elementary classrooms are child-led, play-rich environments where children choose from thoughtfully designed activities, work with real materials, and learn through exploration, conversation, and projects. Teachers act as careful observers and guides, helping each child grow in independence, curiosity, and confidence.

A dedicated group of CRCS learners recently held a bake sale and lemonade sale out at the Cornville campus to raise money for their Field Day! Learners made baked goods and homemade lemonades and learned all about fundraising and profits. These hands-on experiences make a difference!

Community Regional Charter school is a free, school of choice for learners from pre-K to high school graduation in Cornville and Skowhegan, Maine. We an ungraded, proficiency based system where learning is the constant, and time is the variable.
