We Will Never Forget — September 11, 2001

Today, the Skowhegan Fire Department pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the firefighters, police officers, EMS providers, military members, and countless others who answered the call.

We especially remember the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving others.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the families and communities forever changed by that day.

The Town of Skowhegan will receive sealed bids for a 2005 EVM Tanker Fire Apparatus. Details below.
2005 EVM tanker on an International Chassis with 35,834 miles
Engine hours 2167
2000 gallon tank
1250 GPM Waterous pump
Allison EVS 4500 transmission Automatic
Cat C13 410 Hp engine
Comes with 2500 gallon porta tank, rear directional dump shoot.

Sealed bids clearly marked “2005 EVM Tanker Bid” will be received in the Town Manager’s Office at the Town of Skowhegan, 225 Water Street, Skowhegan, Maine 04976 until October 2nd at 10:00am. The anticipated date of the bid award is October 9th, 2026.

** Minimum Bid of $80,000 **

Two copies of the bid must be provided.

The Town of Skowhegan reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
