Mrs. Guck and Mrs. Danner spent the week learning, growing, and gathering new ideas to help make Marrs Elementary the very best it can be for our students, staff, and families.

Happy Nurses Week to the one and only Nurse Amy! 🐾🩺

From bandaids and belly aches to hugs, smiles, and calming worried hearts…you do it ALL at Marrs Elementary! Our students and staff are so lucky to have someone who cares for everyone with such kindness, patience, and love each and every day.

Thank you for being the keeper of ice packs, the giver of comfort, the medicine master, and one of the biggest hearts in our building. We know your days are nonstop, but you always make time for every child who walks through your door.

Nurse Amy, thank you for all you do to keep our students healthy, safe, and loved! We appreciate you more than words can say!

What started as pen pals turned into the sweetest friendship! ♥️🐾✏️

Since January, Mrs. Massey and Mrs. Maddoux’s classes have been writing letters back and forth with Mrs. Purdue’s high school zoology classes — asking questions, sharing stories, and getting to know one another.

They finally got to meet in person! 🎉 The high school students came to visit their classrooms, play on the playground, and spend time with the kiddos.

The excitement was through the roof! Our students were SO excited to meet their new friends face to face, and the smiles all around made today extra special. 💛

What an amazing experience watching friendships grow across grade levels. They had the BEST time!

Tuesday we celebrated one of the sweetest milestones of all… Kindergarten Graduation! 🎓❤️

What an incredible year it has been watching these students learn, grow, laugh, and shine. From learning letters and numbers to building friendships and confidence, our kindergarteners have accomplished so much, and we could not be more proud of them!

To our parents and families — thank you for trusting us with your precious children each and every day. It is truly an honor to be a part of their journey, and we are so grateful for the support, encouragement, and love you pour into our school family.

A huge thank you to Ms. Rainez and our amazing kindergarten teachers and staff for all of their hard work preparing for this special day. Your patience, dedication, creativity, and love for students are evident in everything you do. Tuesday was beautiful because of the countless hours you spent making it meaningful for our students and families.

Kindergarten may be almost over, but the future is SO bright for this special group of students! ♥️🐾
