Community Input Wanted!
Pacific High School is currently in the process of selecting new curriculum for our Horticultural class, and we’d love to have our community be part of the process!

As part of the curriculum adoption process, community members will have the opportunity to review the instructional materials being considered. Two textbooks will be available for review at the Pacific High School office:

- Horticulture Today
- Principles of Agricultural, Food and Natural Resources

The materials will be available for two weeks for community review. Following the review period, the proposed curriculum will be presented to the School Board for consideration and potential adoption.

Your voice matters! Thank you for taking the time to participate in our curriculum review process and help support engaging, meaningful learning opportunities for our students.

Reminder: Sports registration is open and required for students in 5th-12th grade who are planning on playing a sport for the 26-27 school year.
Both Driftwood Elementary and Pacific High School registrations are still open! Visit https://www.2cj.com to register for both school and sports!

Driftwood will welcome 1st-6th graders on August 31st. Doors open at 7:40 am, and class starts at 8 am each day. Kindergarteners will have a waterfall start beginning on Tuesday, September 8th, with an AM and PM group (contact DW front office with questions). DW Open House and Title I meeting is Thursday, September 24th, 5-7 pm.

Pacific will welcome 7th and 8th graders on Monday, August 31st, and all students on Tuesday, September 1st. Doors open at 7:45 am. School hours are 8:15 am - 3:20 pm. PHS Open House will be held on Tuesday, September 15th from 5 pm - 6:30 pm.

Here it is, the Approved 5-day Instructional Week Calendar for the 2026-27 School Year. Due to Governor Kotek's Executive Order our 4-day week plan had to be canceled and We had to return to our traditional 5-day week calendar. Our First day of school will be Monday, August 31, 2026. School Offices will be open on Monday, August 10, 2026 for more information.

High school fall sports officially begin August 17!

To participate, all student-athletes must have a current sports physical (required every 2 years).

If your athlete needs a physical, this is a great opportunity to get it done FREE before practices begin. Don’t wait until the last minute—make sure your athlete is ready for the first day of fall sports!

Today is the First Day for the Free Summer Meals for kids and teens 18 & under June 22-August 6, 2026. You can head over to Driftwood School for Breakfast from 8-9am and Lunch from 11:30am-12:30pm, Monday-Thursday.
