At Shee Atiká, we wore orange shirts today, September 30, to honor and remember those children who were lost and those who survived residential boarding schools. Our Indigenous Programs Manager, Angie Ketah, provided a Lunch and Learn, which was available to all of our staff nationwide. She shared stories with the help of her Auntie Koty to help our team understand a part of our indigenous history. These stories help to show our resilience and promote healing and ensure that we never forget, because every child matters.
