Don't forget, tomorrow, Saturday June 2 is the annual shredding event downtown Sister Bay from 9 to 1. Also appliance recycling at the Liberty Grove Town Hall from 9 to 1.

Saturday, June 2 is the date for Sister Bay's annual shredding day. It will be held from 9 - 1 in the parking lot next to the library. Also appliance and electronic recycling will take place at the Liberty Grove Town Hall the same day and hours. Sister Bay and Liberty Grove residents are encouraged to participate in both events.

Mark your calendars for Tuesday May 22, 5:30, at the South Fire Station. A public information open house will be held with representatives from the DOT on the reconstruction of Hwy 42. Short presentation followed by one-on-one questions and answers.

Annual Shredding Day this morning from 9 am to noon. Don't forget to bring all your unwanted personal documents for secure disposal. Free of charge for all Sister Bay residents or businesses located within the Village.

Don't forget this Saturday the Village is holding its annual Shredding Day from 9 am to Noon at the old Walkway Shops parking lot. Bring in your old tax documents, business files and any other documents you would like to have shredded in a safe and secure manner. FYI, you must be a resident of Sister Bay or have a business within the Village to partake. Best of all it is FREE!!!

Approving the new Sign Ordinance, the Plan Commission has spent the last 5 months revamping the current ordinance.
Authorizing the General Obligation Refunding Bond for $5,350,000 for the Johnson property purchase.
Presentation from Going Garbage on accepting new plastic containers numbers 3 through 7 for recycling.

Board of Trustees meeting tomorrow, Wednesday March 16th, at the Sister Bay Library, 6:00 pm. Agenda highlights; Transferring ownership of the Corner of the Past property to the Sister Bay Historical Society, awarding the contract for installation of docks and other improvements at the marina, refinancing Village debt (Johnson property & marina), Ordinance declaring an alternative Board of Review deadline.

Board of Trustees meeting tonight at 6. Main topic to be discussed tonight is the continution of the Community Marketing Fund. For those of you not familiar, it is the additional money that all tourism zone communities receive from the DC Visitor Bureau. Originally set up for 3 years and then expire in 2012. This money is given to the local marketing entity such as Sister Bay Advancement for marketing purposes.
