The Door County Fire Chiefs Association extends our gratitude to the 100+ Women Who Care group for their award of a $16,000 Grant on April 28th to support our efforts.

"We are immensely grateful to the 100+WWC for their support and commitment to our community's health and safety," said Assistant Chief Mike Goldstone. "The 100+WWC are bolstering our efforts to enhance emergency response capabilities and acquire additional Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) and CPR/AED training. AEDs significantly increase survival during cardiac emergencies. This award will empower our community members to act swiftly in critical situations and save lives."

We would like to specifically thank Gloria Heck for nominating our Association for this award. Gloria also volunteers with the Incident Support Team that provides emergency service groups in Door County with critical support on larger incidents. We would also like to recognize Liz Hecht, Wife of SBLGFD Chief Chris Hecht, for her support and efforts as a member of 100+ WWC.
