🚒 June Training Night for the Siren Fire Department at Crooked Lake 🚤
This month for training, members of Siren Fire Department focused on two important skills that help us serve our community safely and effectively until right before the storm hit.
Crews spent part of the evening conducting water rescue training using our newly acquired rescue boat. Members practiced boat operations, water access procedures, and rescue techniques to ensure we are prepared to respond when emergencies occur on our lakes and waterways.
We also worked on dump tank operations, practicing the deployment and filling of portable water tanks. These tanks play a critical role during rural fire incidents where hydrants may not be available, allowing us to establish a reliable water supply for firefighting operations.
Training like this helps keep our department prepared for a variety of emergencies and ensures we can provide the best possible service to the residents and visitors of our community.
