Sharing our deepest sympathies with the family of Denny Pierson, another quiet giant of South Dakota Democratic politics, and a wonderful man. His good humor, conviction, and steady leadership will be sorely missed.

Dennis Ray Pierson transitioned to his eternal life on October 20, 2024. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 400 to 600 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 401 S Spring Ave., Sioux Falls, SD 57104. A funeral service will take place
