This morning, The Siouxland Recovery Fund was activated to support the recovery efforts of tornado and severe wind damage in the Siouxland region.

The purpose of the fund is to provide financial resources to help meet short, intermediate, and long-term needs for recovery in the Siouxland area when a major disaster strikes.

Donating to the Siouxland Recovery Fund is easy:

“Week of the Young Child®, sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), highlights the needs of young children and celebrates the programs that support them.

Recently United Way of Siouxland visited the Community Action Agency of Siouxland Head Start Program, which serves 516 children and families in Woodbury County. For over 50 years, the agency has provided quality early childhood services in the community.

Visitors spent time with children and staff, learning about the impact of early education. The visit ended with a special thank-you—Head Start children and staff presented a plaque and a beautiful picture in appreciation!“

Thank you to everyone who came out today for our Campaign Success event at Buffalo Alice Pizza! Today we were able to announced we raised over $2.97 million during our annual campaign!

Team registrations are open for the 2026 United Way of Siouxland Caddyshack Scramble!

This year's event will be held on Friday, May 8 at Green Valley Golf Course, with Check-In starting at 11:30 a.m. and Shotgun Start at 12:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the Caddyshack Scramble benefit Imagination Library, which provides free books to Siouxland children ages 0-5.
