Congratulations to North High School's Kuma Gutema for his incredible performance at this year's high school state track meet. As only a sophomore, Kuma won the 800m and 1600m races and placed 3rd in the 3200m, setting a new school record with a time of 8:51. He is ranked 2nd nationally in the 800, 5th in the 1600, and 2nd in the mile compared to other sophomores. Congrats, Kuma!

A very special day at North High this afternoon. Today we celebrated 4 fantastic seniors at our North High Foundations Graduation. These seniors brightened everyone's day with every encounter and left North High a better place than when they found it. Congratulations Jade, Kleber, Brooke, and Simukasa!

Today is one of the most fun days as an educator. We got to celebrate the seniors doing North's annual walk-through. They showed up in huge numbers at 7 different North feeder elementary and middle schools!! They walked through North Middle, Irving, Perry Creek, Leeds, Unity, Bryant, and Hunt Elementary. They did such a great job of interacting with all the students, former teachers and staff. They definitely set an excellent example for future North High Stars. Congratulations Class of 2026!! We are very proud of all of you!
