The Cassadaga Valley Class of 2026 returned from an incredible three-day senior trip to Boston filled with fun, adventure, and lasting memories. Students enjoyed exciting attractions including Hurricane Harbor Water Park, a relaxing day at Hampton Beach, a Boston Duck Tour, and time exploring Quincy Market.

One of the trip highlights was attending the Boston Red Sox game at historic Fenway Park, giving students the opportunity to experience one of baseball's most iconic venues.

Beyond the attractions, the trip provided valuable opportunities for classmates to strengthen friendships, celebrate their accomplishments, and create memories that will last long after graduation.

Last Friday, Cassadaga Valley proudly celebrated the Top 10 students of the Class of 2026 with a special luncheon alongside their families.

This first annual event was held at the Cassadaga American Legion, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity in allowing us to use their beautiful facility to recognize these outstanding students.

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Torrey for organizing every detail of this wonderful event and to Mrs. Sedlak, Executive Principal, for sharing words of encouragement and recognition with our students and their families.

Our Top 10 students represent the very best of Cassadaga Valley. Through their dedication, perseverance, leadership, and commitment to excellence, they have distinguished themselves both inside and outside the classroom. We are proud of their accomplishments and excited to see the impact they will continue to make as they pursue their goals and dreams.

Congratulations to the Top 10 members of the Class of 2026! Your hard work has earned this recognition, and the entire Cassadaga Valley community celebrates your success.

This industry-recognized certification is a stepping stone to future IT certifications from CompTIA. To earn this certification students must demonstrate competency in computer hardware, applications, programming and databases. Congrats, Emma and Blake!

The June 10 Board of Education meeting was a truly special evening filled with celebration, recognition, and Cougar pride.

One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the recognition of our Class of 2026 Valedictorian, Grant Zahm. Because he will be departing next week to begin his journey at the United States Air Force Academy before our district's commencement ceremony, the Board of Education and school community hosted a special graduation ceremony in his honor. Surrounded by family, friends, educators, and community members, he was celebrated for his outstanding academic achievements, exceptional leadership, and commitment to service. It was a fitting tribute to a remarkable young man as he embarks on this prestigious next chapter.

The evening also provided an opportunity to recognize and celebrate our newly tenured educators, whose dedication, professionalism, and commitment to students have earned this important milestone in their careers. In addition, we proudly honored our two retirees, Andy Cusimano and Cheryl Logan (who could not join us), and our second-semester ROAR recipients, recognizing staff members who exemplify our district's values through their daily actions and unwavering commitment to excellence. Congrats to the following staff and students!
