Simsbury Dems spent a beautiful day with both current and new volunteers for a late summer BBQ. We are excited and ready for the work ahead this Fall!

We were saddened to learn of the passing of former Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman. She was an iconic presence in Connecticut politics for decades, a good friend to Simsbury and served as a role model for so many. (Not to mention her legendary high heeled shoes.)

Our sincerest condolences to her family and all those who loved her.

Join us for a school-spirited, back to school SDTC fundraiser August 30th at 4 pm.

Wear your favorite alum swag, and bring a friend from your Alma mater, to enjoy live music by one of our own Board members. Please bring a snack to be shared with the group (sign up genius in comments,) and one which can be shared in lunch bags for kids going back to school. (They will be donated to the Simsbury Food pantry.)

In-Person Early Voting for the August 11 Democratic and Republican Primaries will be held in the Main Meeting Room at Simsbury Town Hall, 933 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury August 3-9 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with special extended hours on August 4 and 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

ACT seeks to address the root causes of poverty, addiction and health inequities and advocates to ensure all people of CT have access to achieve multi-generational health, wealth and happiness.
