Attention members! We'll be having a fill the boot fundraiser for the general fund this weekend. We'll be at Jewel in Silvis from 9am-1pm. It will be hot, so bring something cold to drink. It would be great to get plenty of people there, or even to rotate due to the expected heat. Comment here if we can count on your participation. Thanks!

Your CCBFD had the pleasure of holding our annual "Shop with a Firefighter" event tonight. We had the privilege of spending an evening full of fun and shopping with 16 amazing kids from our Eagle Ridge School. A huge Thank You to our supporters, donors and the Silvis Walmart for making this possible again this year. Merry Christmas kids, and have a safe New Year!!

The Rock Island County Highway Department has announced that Barstow Road, will be closed to traffic at the BNSF Rail Road Tracks in Barstow. The Road will be closed from 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28, until 5 p.m. Friday, Sept.1.

Please plan accordingly.
