Faith. Has religion taken ownership of it?
What about faith in each other?
Faith in humanity?
A faithful dog or friend?
What about faith in fidelity?

When I googled "faith" most of the images were crosses. A few had someone looking out into an ocean or sunrise. But faith is something that might be in short supply right now...in almost everything.

Where do we put our faith? And what--exactly--does that mean?
A worthy exercise in this often hopeless time. Let's take a ride down faith road and see where we end up...

Change is on the horizon and it’s time for the younger generation to take the lead in creating the world we want our kids to grow up in! We need new leadership that aren’t beholden to corporate donors. Change is a mother, but nothing worth doing has ever been easy.

And remember friends, your vote is private and confidential. The choice you make when you fill out your ballot is yours alone.

Domestic violence is violence that happens in the home, in the family, where we ought to be safe. It touches all lives. Some directly as victims. Some as family or friends of a victim or abuser. And it may be someone who shows up at choir or bridge or in the school parking lot with a bruise or wound or broken spirit.

It may be wives, and it may be husbands. Or children. Violence in a home is a darkness that dims the whole community. Our culture is still not comfortable with calling it out. Religion continues to uphold the dominance of men in relationships--not just in leadership, but in OBEDIENCE.

We will all have stories. We're going to review the signs and become familiar with what we can do and with community resources.
