Silverdale Elementary's staff is committed to the success of each of our students. We are part of Central Kitsap School District serving grades K-5.

Our district’s mission is to equip our students with the knowledge and skills to succeed and prosper in an ever-changing global society. We
live out that mission by providing quality programs for our students and creating supportive partnerships with our parents and
school community. Successful students have great character. Our students learn about pillars of character through our Character Count

s program. During the course of a year, students learn about trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, as well as they learn about being caring and how to be excellent community members through citizenship. Partnerships with parents are important to us because students are most successful when we take the “village” approach to education. During the 2015-16 school year, our students will attend "host" schools while our school is being remodeled. Students in grades 1-6 will be at Ridgetop Middle School while kindergarteners will be at Silver Ridge Elementary School.

Our kindergarten scientists were hard at work at this year's Science Fair! Students proudly showcased their animal research projects, sharing fascinating facts about their favorite creatures and demonstrating their growing skills as researchers and presenters. We are so proud of their curiosity, creativity, and confidence as they explored the amazing world of animals. Great job, kindergarteners! 🔬🐾🐬

We are so proud of our Silverdale Girls on the Run team! They ran their 5k this weekend!! Thank you to the coaches and families for their support during this season. Way to go girls!!!

Thank you ASB students and Miss Havens for an amazing evening of Popsicles and playground!!! Families had fun playing in the sun and hanging out together!

A blast from the past!! This week our Dolphins experienced a "Then and Now" museum in the library. They were asked, "what is the purpose of this item, and what replaced it?" We figured out that all items except for 2 have been replaced by our phones!!!

This made many of us staff members feel a little old hahaha!!

Our Native American club read "Water Protectors" and then created a mandala of the earth. They pledged to be stewards of the earth!
