Operating for more than four decades, YMCA Youth & Family Services (YFS) provides school- and community-based prevention and early intervention services to at-risk and under-served children and families from across Montgomery County. YFS programs address basic social-service needs, teach fundamental life skills and assist participants in making healthy choices for the future. In 2010, YFS served m

ore than 6,000 children and adults, of whom 59% were Hispanic, 25% were African-American, 10% were Caucasian, 4% were Asian, and 2% were multi-race.
