We had a wonderful time at The Multicultural Senior Service Fair hosted by The Arc Montgomery County and organized by Julz and Carrie.

It was an amazing opportunity for individuals and families in Montgomery County to connect with valuable community resources, learn from so many different vendors, and feel supported in an inclusive environment. Having translators on site made the event even more welcoming and accessible to everyone.

JK House of Grace, Assisted Living Homes is grateful to work alongside The Arc Montgomery County for respite cases and appreciate all the work that went into creating such a meaningful event for the community.

At JK House of Grace, we love creating joyful and meaningful moments for our residents and families especially on Mother’s Day. Our flower bouquet activity brought everyone together in a beautiful way, followed by a lunch that was enjoyed by all. Spending time together on special occasions truly makes a difference in the lives of our residents. We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated and helped make this day so memorable. Happy Mother’s Day to all our wonderful friends and families!

We hope you can join us at The Arc Montgomery County’s Multicultural Senior Services Fair, a free community event where live, in-person interpreters will be available so seniors and caregivers can get support in the language they feel most comfortable speaking. Along with English other languages include Spanish, French, Amharic, Chinese, Russian, and more.

This fair remove language barriers and creates direct access to organizations offering essential services across Montgomery County, including Medicaid waivers, the Medicare Guide Program, respite coordination, long-term care supports, mental health and veterans’ services. Additional resources will cover housing options, transportation assistance, food programs, and caregiver supports and hospice.

With on-site interpretation and culturally responsive support, everyone is welcome. We look forward to connecting seniors and caregivers to the resources they need with care, respect, and community.

Blessed Ash Wednesday everyone!
Today marks the first day of the Lenten season. Thank you Pastor Robin for coming today. He gave our residents such a touching sermon and marked each forehead with the ashes. A gentle reminder that we’re dust, but loved and renewed by God’s grace. Wishing you all a peaceful start to Lent.

Our 5th Wine Down Thursday did not disappoint 🍷🍫🍓

An evening filled with chocolate sampling, curated wines, and unforgettable bites from Modena Reserve, including mozz sticks with caviar, cake on a baguette, skewers, charcuterie boards, and more.

Congratulations to Agartha for winning our Valentine’s Movie Night basket. Hope it’s a blockbuster night 🍿❤️

And of course, we ended the night on a sweet note with chocolate covered strawberries that were the perfect Valentine’s touch. Proof that when you mix great people with great wine, everything just turns into opportunity.

Love was in the air at JK House of Grace this Valentine’s Day ♥️

Our residents enjoyed a meal from Don Pollo, followed by cake, cupcakes, and raspberry crumpet

We did a fun activity after and created painted long stem roses🎨

After we finished, Anthony surprised all the ladies with fresh roses 🌹 The smiles on their faces said it all!

Thank you to the families and friends who joined us today. A day full of love, laughter, and heartfelt gestures

Hello dear friends and families of JK House Of Grace, Assisted Living Homes

Pastor Robin Axtell,

who is on staff at Oakdale Church in Olney, serving several local assisted living facilities, comes weekly to our community JK House of Grace Assisted Living,to bless our residents and staff.

On January 31, he was ordained as an elder shepherd at Son of David Congregation in Derwood, a messianic congregation.

His roll at both houses of worship will now extend to many more.
He continues to follow God’s calling.
Congratulations dear Pastor and may the Lord continue to bless you.
