Something going on in Silver Lake Friday.
The wait is over—it's time to kick off another summer of fun in Silver Lake!
The Silver Lake Eagle Beacon and Silver Lake Ball Association are excited to launch the 2026 Friday Fun Days with our first event hosted by Home of the Flint Hills on Friday, June 12, from 10 aam to 12:30 pm.
Everyone is invited to join us for a day packed with fun, games, prizes, amazing vehicles, and free hot dogs and chips. Kids will have the opportunity to meet members of the Silver Lake Police Department, Silver Lake Fire Department, Shawnee County Sheriff's Office, and more.
This event marks the beginning of a summer full of Friday Fun Days featuring water activities, bounce houses, sports, arts and crafts, games, the fishing derby, fireworks, and plenty of surprises as local businesses and organizations create unique experiences for families throughout the summer.
Grab your friends, bring the kids, and come help us start the summer with a bang. We can't wait to see everyone Friday and look forward to many more fun-filled Fridays ahead!
