There is a water shut off scheduled for Friday, June 19, from 8:00am-12:00pm

The area affected is Main Street between Tower Avenue and Lake Avenue.

This shut off is part of the ongoing infrastructure project. Remember to run your outside faucet following a shut off to help clear the lines.

**There has been an emergency water shut off**

Location: Frank Street between Park Ave and Summit Ave, Park Ave from Frank St to Hwy 7

Expected to last from 9am - 12pm

There is a water shut off scheduled for Friday, May 29th, 2026, from 9am - 12pm. This water shut off affects Summit Ave between Frank St and Hwy 7, as well as Howard Street.

Water has been restored at approximately 1pm, 5/7/26.

There is a planned water shut off on Thursday, May 7, 2023, between 9am and 2pm. See included map below.

If the shut off goes well, the affected area will only be Main Street between Grove Ave S and Tower.

If there are issues with the valves when they go to shut off the water, then ALL areas WEST of Park Ave will be affected as well. If you still have water between 9:30 & 10, you should not be affected

If you received a notice hung on your door, please prepare for water to be off and then run your outside faucet before running water inside to clear the lines.

There was an unforeseen issue during the scheduled Infrastructure water shut off.

All properties WEST of Lake Ave N could potentially be without water. We will update as soon as we have additional information.

WATER HAS BEEN RESTORED TO ALL PROPERTIES THAT SHOULD HAVE WATER AT THIS TIME.
(The scheduled water shut off remains in effect as scheduled.)

4/20/2026 - WATER SHUT OFF

For those properties adjacent to the highlighted streets on this map, your water service will be shut off temporarily on Monday, April 20, 2026 from 10AM - 4PM due to construction.

Please plan accordingly.

There is to be no parking on the reclaimed streets until the process is complete.

**Important Information Regarding Property Assessments - This may affect your 2027 property taxes.**

The Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City of Silver Lake will meet on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 6:00pm in the Silver Lake Auditorium located at 320 Main St W, in the lower level. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.

If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor's office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the Local Board of Appeal and Equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the County Board of Appeal and Equalization.
