UPDATE (Friday, April 17): Crews have completed base failure repairs ahead of resurfacing. Milling operations are scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 23, with paving expected to begin on Monday, April 27.

UPDATE (3:20 p.m., Wed., March 25): due to the potential for inclement weather, the base failure repairs on KY 8 will now take place on Monday, March 30.

ORIGINAL POST:🚧Mary Ingles Hwy. Resurfacing in Campbell County🚧

A resurfacing project on a portion of KY 8 in Silver Grove is expected to begin on Friday, March 27. Crews will resurface from Industrial Road to just east of Maple Road. They'll be working between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Expect single lane closures during these working hours with flaggers guiding traffic.

Base failures will be repaired beginning Friday. This work is expected to take several days. Once that work is complete, they'll return to the project site in a few weeks to begin milling/paving operations. That work has yet to be scheduled, but we'll let you know ahead of time so you know what to expect!

This resurfacing is part of a larger resurfacing project that includes a portion of Grand Avenue (KY 1892) and Memorial Parkway (KY 1120). We'll provide updates once those portions of the project have been scheduled. All three portions of this project are expected to be completed by June 30, 2026.

Parking lot at the Old Firehouse has been repaved! Stripping later today. The parking lot will reopen tomorrow.
