This year's theme: "Silent Victims” Children Who Fall Through the Gaps

Behind closed doors, children see it, feel it, and carry it. This October, we're breaking that silence and standing up for the ones who often go unseen. We will honor and remember all victims/survivors.

As our nation celebrates independence this July 4th, El Refugio wants to shine a light on a freedom that too many people are still fighting for - freedom from domestic violence! Across our community, survivors are showing extraordinary courage every day. They are brave, they are resilient, and they aer not ALONE!

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to State Representative Luis Terrazas for his efforts in securing GRO funding for our organization. Through his leadership and advocacy, we were able to purchase a 2025 Ford Maverick, which will greatly enhance our ability to serve our community.
