Our drone event last Tuesday went a little sideways...in some cases, literally. We are trying again next Wednesday, June 10, at 2 p.m.! Thank you all for your understanding as we learn more about the drones and get familiar with all maintenance requirements. We hope to see you Wednesday!

The library will host an informal GrantStation workshop on Monday, May 18, 10:00-11:00am at the library. Librarian Lillian Galloway will lead an exploration of the platform. During the tour, participants can suggest specific grant criteria to try searching, and the group can troubleshoot tricky searches together. Those interested in attending are asked to contact the library to sign up, if possible, so organizers have an idea of how many to expect. Call 575-538-3672, email [email protected], or stop by the library to sign up.

To access GrantStation, grantseekers must be in the library building. They can use a library computer, or use their own device on the library’s wireless internet connection. Then grantseekers should use the internet address grantstation.com/library-login. Library staff members are available to assist.

As described on their website grantstation.com, GrantStation offers organizations and agencies the opportunity to identify potential funding sources for their programs or projects as well as resources to mentor these organizations through the grantseeking process. The database serves all grantseekers: nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, religious organizations, and independent grant professionals.
