The Siloam Springs Police Department extends our deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and LEO family of Captain Chris Kelley. An honorable, dedicated, and faithful servant. God speed, Captain. 🖤💙🖤

Our law enforcement family is mourning the loss of a truly remarkable man.

After many years of dedicated service, Chris Kelley, a longtime Deputy Sheriff with the Benton County Sheriff's Office, (Reserve Lieutenant), and Captain with the Centerton Police Department, has passed away.

He was more than a badge and a uniform. He was a respected leader, a trusted mentor, a loyal friend, a devoted husband, and a servant to his community. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He led with integrity, treated people with respect, and earned the admiration of colleagues, friends, and community members alike. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched throughout his career and beyond.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and all who served alongside him during this difficult time.

Thank you for your service, your friendship, and the example you set for so many. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, brother. We have the watch from here.

Today, we pause to remember the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice is not abstract. It was paid by real people with families, futures, dreams, and names. Because of their courage, we continue to live with freedoms that came at a cost far greater than most of us will ever fully understand.

The Siloam Springs Police Department honors those who never came home. We remember their service, their sacrifice, and the families who carry their memory every day.

This Memorial Day, may we do more than enjoy a long weekend. May we remember why we have one.

We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
