🌧📈The Illinois River is anticipated to rise rapidly over the next several hours due to widespread rain last night.

❌The Kayak Park is closed for high water.❌

✅The park will reopen when river levels have receded below 1,000 cubic feet per second at the USGS streamgage at Hwy 16 Near Siloam Springs and staff have cleaned up any flood debris and performed any necessary repairs.

📉River Levels at the Siloam Springs Kayak Park have dropped below 1,000 cubic feet per second and staff have cleaned mud and debris off parking lots and sidewalks following this week's floods.

✅The Siloam Springs Kayak Park is now open.

🌧More rain is forecasted for this evening and this weekend, so be sure to check USGS streamgages before hitting the river.

🏀2026 SUMMER ADULT BASKETBALL LEAGUE🏀

✅Team registration and payment due by 5pm Friday, June 26th. Fees can be paid online or at the Parks and Recreation office: 401 W. University, Siloam Springs

💲$300.00/team

📅Coaches meeting on June 29th @ 6pm at Parks and Rec office. Signed rosters must be turned in at this time.

📅League play will be on Monday nights beginning July 6th

📍All games will be played at the Intermediate School New Gym & Old Gym

✅ 8 team limit. League runs for 7 weeks with a single elimination Tournament.

⛹Jersey colors will be picked by Captains as teams sign up. Must have visible number.

✅Team fees are due by 5pm on Thursday, June 25th. Fees can be paid online or at the Parks and Recreation office: 401 W. University Siloam Springs AR 72761

💲$150.00/team

🗓Coaches Meeting June 25th @ 6pm at the Parks and Rec office. You must turn in your roster at that time. Players can sign-in at the games.

🏐The season begins Thursday, July 2nd.

🏐The league will be played on Thursday nights, first matches starting at 6:00pm

🏐The length of the season will be determined by number of teams entered
In case of bad weather on game day, the decision to play will be made at 3:00pm. Check the Parks and Rec page or call the Parks & Recreation Department at 524-5779

🎣☔ The fish were biting, the kids were smiling, and the rain didn't stand a chance! ☔🎣

From families fishing together to kids proudly showing off their catches, it was a morning full of fun, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. The rain may have fallen, but it certainly didn't stop everyone from having a great time!

⚠️ This week, the City will temporarily lower the water level behind the Sager Creek dam.

👷 This will allow contractors interested in bidding on the upcoming Twin Springs restoration and bluff stabilization project to inspect the creek and site conditions. Construction is anticipated to begin in late fall of this year.

🛶 Water levels will return to normal by the end of the week.

⛲Thank you for your patience as we take the next steps toward preserving Twin Springs for future generations.

🌧️ Rain couldn’t stop the fun!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, participated, volunteered, donated. and supported this year’s Annual Kids Fishing Derby. Despite the weather, we had a great turnout and an unforgettable day filled with fishing, fun, and family memories.

🏆 Congratulations to all our participants and winners!
