Street Sweeping Reminder — Monday Mornings
In accordance with Iowa Code § 321.358, stopping, standing, or parking a vehicle is prohibited—except to avoid traffic conflicts or when directed by law enforcement or traffic-control devices—in the following areas:

Marion Street: Stuart Street to Shuffleton Street
Washington Street: Stuart Street to Shuffleton Street
Main Street: Elm Street to Spring Street
Jefferson Street: Elm Street to Spring Street

When:

Every Monday, 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., for street cleaning
Any time snow accumulation reaches two inches (2") or more

Please ensure vehicles are removed during these times to allow for effective street maintenance and to avoid citations.

In past years, the News‑Review organized and promoted the Sigourney City‑Wide Garage Sale. With the recent closure of the newspaper, Keokuk County Economic Development (KCED) would like to step in to help organize and promote the event for 2026.

🗓 Sale Dates: June 4–6, 2026
