Fire Chief Eric Mitchell, Lone Oak volunteer firefighters, and members of the LOVFD Board, held a gavel passing ceremony with LOVFD Board Past President Elaine Brunelle.
Brunelle and her husband are relocating to Florida.
“I would like to thank everyone for the opportunity to lead the organization that provides valuable services to the community of Lone Oak.”
The LOVFD’s Board of Directors has elected David Adams, at-large board member, to be the
Interim Board President. Adams will serve in the Interim position through November 2027.
The next LOVFD meeting is open to the public and will be held at the fire hall on Tuesday, May 12 at 5:30pm EDT.
