Sometimes, a small act of kindness can meet a very real need.
We want to give a heartfelt shout-out to Pam, who recently noticed that our Food Pantry was running low on several items. Without being asked, she reached out and made a generous monetary donation to help us restock. We are so grateful for people like Pam who notice a need and simply say, “How can I help?”
We also want to recognize Parisa, who donated school supplies and is truly an absolute angel. Her generosity will help provide students with the supplies they need to learn, grow, and feel prepared at school. We are incredibly thankful for her kindness and support!
A heartfelt thank-you to Kathy R.! Kathy generously donated back-to-school supplies and lunch boxes to help our students start the school year prepared and ready to learn. We are so grateful for her kindness and generosity! Thank you, Kathy, for making a difference in the lives of our students!
A few of our elementary school teachers recently reached out to let us know that some students are coming to school without snacks and they are hungry during the school day. This is why snacks are one of our biggest needs right now. Easy-to-grab, kid-friendly snacks can make a meaningful difference for a child who needs a little extra nourishment to get through the day.
If you’re looking for a way to help, please consider picking up a few extra snacks the next time you’re at the grocery store. Granola bars, crackers, fruit snacks, applesauce pouches, and other individually packaged items are especially helpful!
To Pam, Parisa, and everyone who continues to support our Food Pantry, thank you! Your generosity reaches far beyond a donation. It reminds our families and children that their community cares about them.
Together, we can help make sure no child has to spend their school day hungry.
