Libraries strengthen democracy every day.
On June 13, 2026, we’ll host a livestream of TED Democracy Philadelphia: Founding Futures, bringing 15+ new TED Talks about democracy’s next chapter from the stage in Philadelphia directly to our community. The livestream will be held at 901 N. Colombo Ave, Sierra Vista, AZ, in Cochise College's student union community room (building 1000) from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Presented in collaboration with Visit Philadelphia and partners nationwide, and sponsored by The Pew Charitable Trusts, this event connects local conversation to a national moment.
This livestream event is free to attend! RSVP here: www.cochise.edu/ted-live

A special summer edition of One Shot for Glory will be held on Wednesday, June 24th from 3:30-7:30pm in the Sierra Vista Campus Library Commons at 901 N. Colombo Ave. Sierra Vista, AZ!

This will be our only gaming session during the summer semester of 2026, so don’t miss out!

Our featured game for the summer will be DREAD: a beginner friendly tabletop roleplaying game with no character sheets, no complicated rules, and an outcome generator more terrifying than dice...

If suspense isn’t your cup of tea, we will have a DUNGEONS & DRAGONS one shot campaign running at the same time and place. Dice, character sheets, and everything you need to play are provided. Just bring yourself!

As always, this event is FREE and open to the public. Beginners and observers are both welcome and encouraged. Player seats are first come, first served.

One Shot for Glory is brought to you by the Cochise College Library and Tabletop Games Club.
