Cochise Family Advocacy Center - Lori's Place

Cochise Family Advocacy Center - Lori's Place To Rise From Victim to Survivor Services include a coordinated interview of child abuse victims in safe, child-friendly surroundings.

This process avoids the need for multiple interviews, reduces the trauma of disclosure, and preserves evidence and statements to enhance offender prosecution and conviction. Cochise Family Advocacy Center, Inc. provides crisis intervention and support for victims and non-offending family members, information regarding next steps, referrals to and information about different agencies involved and h

This beginning achieves our mission to compassionately support and promote the well-being of children and adults through comprehensive services in a neutral, friendly environment. Our service area covers Cochise County, Graham County, and Greenlee County.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures who provide strength, guidance, and compassion every day.

At Lori’s Place, we know how important supportive caregivers are in helping children feel safe, valued, and understood. Today is a meaningful reminder of the impact fathers and father figures have in building resilience and shaping brighter futures.

Whether you’re celebrating, being celebrated, or honoring the memory of someone important in your life, we hope your day is filled with gratitude and connection.

Juneteenth reminds us of the moment in 1865 when freedom finally reached Galveston, Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Today, we honor the strength, history, and resilience of the Black community.

As a family advocacy center, we’re committed to creating a safe, equitable, and trauma‑informed community for every survivor who walks through our doors.

In observance of the holiday, our office will be closed on June 19. We will reopen on June 22.

We hope your Juneteenth is meaningful, reflective, and full of hope!

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month!

This serves as a reminder that healing, hope, and support are for everyone.

At Lori’s Place, we know that men and boys experience trauma too, including child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

If you or someone you care about needs a safe, confidential space to talk, heal, or access trauma‑informed care, we’re here. Our advocates, medical professionals, and peer support team provide free services for survivors of all ages.

It's not weak to speak. Support is here. Healing is possible. 💙

At Lori’s Place, we believe every person deserves safety, dignity, and compassion, no matter their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or background.

This month and every month, we stand with the diverse communities that make Southeastern Arizona stronger. We remain committed to offering a safe, trauma‑informed space where survivors of all identities are seen, heard, and supported on their path to healing.

Everyone is welcome here. Everyone deserves a place where hope begins. 🏳️‍🌈
