Sharing a clip of Comrade Ken Anhalt from our Post, & Gregg Chavez of El Monte being honored at the annual Veterans Forum

"I don't forget that I've had the honor of serving this country." These local veterans were honored for their service in the Korean War and World War II. They were incredibly happy to be recognized after all these years.

Resource Alert!!! Check out your local Veteran and Family Wellness Day!
The Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative (LAVC) in partnership with Village for Vets and the Veteran Pees Access Network (VPAN), are hosting a series of Wellness Days throughout the month of October that are focused on the wellbeing of our Veterans and Military Families.

Each event is planning to have a food truck, food pantry, grocery food gift cards, COVID vaccines, and several veteran service organizations that will be onsite to provide services during the event.
