MAIN STREET PAVING
Monday, September 21st
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Please be advised that Main Street will be paved one lane at a time during these hours.
🚫 No parking will be permitted on Main Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic and help keep vehicles moving safely through the work area.
Please plan ahead and use an alternate route if possible.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while this important work is completed.

VILLAGE BOARD MEETING
The meeting on Monday September 14th will be held at our new location:
43 Pearl St. W
Sidney, NY
The entrance and parking are located behind the building. Please use the driveway on the right side of the building to access the parking area and entrance. Look for the Village of Sidney sign on Pearl St.
All future Village Board, Planning Board and Zoning Board meetings will be held at our new location.

MAIN STREET CLOSURE
Milling work will begin at the Main Street Bridge on September 8. During the initial phase of work, the intersection of Bridge Street, Main Street, and River Street at the traffic light will be closed.

Residents and businesses on Bridge, Maple, Avery, Church, New, Pleasant, Liberty, Smith, and Willow Streets should use Cartwright Avenue and turn left onto Main Street to access their destinations.
As the work progresses, access from Cartwright Avenue to Main Street will be closed. At that time, the Bridge Street and River Street intersection will reopen for use.
Main Street will remain closed from the Light at River Street to East/West Main Street split.

Please plan your travel accordingly and follow all posted detours and traffic-control signs.

The Village Clerk, Code Office, and Mayor’s Office are now located at:

43 Pearl St. W.

The office entrance is behind the building. Please use the driveway on the right side of the building to access the entrance and parking.
