👏 A Big Thank You to Our Snow Plow Drivers! ❄️

As our first decent snowfall of the winter season blankets the area, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude to the incredible snow plow drivers across the state, county, city, villages, and townships. Your hard work and dedication keep our roads safe and our communities running smoothly.

Please remember to be patient if your road hasn’t been cleared yet. These drivers are working tirelessly to reach every area as quickly and safely as possible.

This is a podcast that I listen to often. With all the conversation in the county around solar, I asked a question that is dear to me. I urge you to take a listen. It is our duty as a good steward and land owner to protect our food producing assets for generations to come. Don’t be pressed into making a decision that might benefit you now, but be a burden for future generations.

Hey all, sorry for the absence and failure to update. It has been a whirlwind since Election Day and I have been in full on catch up mode around the farm. If you haven’t heard I was declared the winner of the primary and I am blessed to have earned your support along the way. I hope to continue to earn more support going in to the general election.

In the midst of this commissioner Tony Bornhorst who was originally set to retire in January, found out that he needs to be retired now in June due to a hit to STRS set to take place in August. I sympathize with him as this is not what he had planned, but I look forward to taking office a little sooner. I look forward to learning from the sitting commissioners over the next few months.

Once the seat is vacant the central committee will be able to appoint to fill the vacancy. I look forward to filling this spot in order to learn and serve with Commissioner Guillozet and Commissioner Ehemann for a few months.

I look forward to continuing conversation with all of you and as it stands now I will run unopposed in November. Thank you all for the outpouring of support.
