*****HOT OFF THE PRESS*****

Good Evening Shelby County,

Sorry for the late post as I have been on the road most of the day today. That being said I have not had much time to digest the attached information, but I want to get it to as many of you as I can. This morning we received updated information from Grid Growth as well as the map we have been requesting since we first heard about the project (even though it is not very detailed). Also, tonight the interactive online map has went live at www.gridgrowthventures.com/WesternOhio This is more detailed and helpful.

Please reach out and continue to send your comments to Grid Growth.

I will have more to add tomorrow when I have more time to read through the material. Please put the October 1st open house on your calendars. As always, please continue to reach out with comments questions and concerns.

LAND RIGHTS COMMUNITY INFORMATIONAL SEMINAR

The Shelby County Commissioners, in conjunction with the Shelby County Farm Bureau, are hosting an informational seminar for landowners and members of the public on what to do when you are asked for land rights.

With major electric transmission line projects impacting our community, it’s important for landowners to understand their property rights, eminent domain, and agricultural districts—and know what questions to ask before signing anything.

Featured Presentation:
Dale Arnold, Ohio Farm Bureau’s Director of Energy, Utility & Local Government Policy

Following the presentation, we will have a public question-and-answer session and panel discussion featuring:

• State Representative Tim Barhorst
• State Senator Susan Manchester
• County Commissioner Mack Knupp

Thursday, August 27, 2026
7:00 PM
Shelby County Fairgrounds – Clopay Building
701 S. Highland Ave., Sidney, Ohio
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, with light refreshments provided.

Whether you are a landowner who has already been contacted about a project or simply want to better understand your rights, we encourage you to attend, ask questions, and learn from experts and your local elected officials.

***Please share this post and help us get the word out. We hope to see you there!***

Sponsored by the Shelby County Farm Bureau & Shelby County Commissioners.

- If you aren’t a current Farm Bureau member now is the time to become one and experience all the benefits and resources they have to offer.

Good Evening Shelby County,

Please see the attached letter shared by the Loramie Township Trustees. There will be an informational meeting in regards to the Grid Growth project on Wednesday, August 12th at 7:00pm located at Houston High School.

I have been asked to share information about the project. Unfortunately, we haven’t been given much information. But I have been shouting for the need for transparency from the start so I plan to speak on the information we have as well as on the research that has been done on how this project was identified as a PJM priority and all the moving parts that go with it including OPSB, FERC, and PJM.

If you live in Loramie, Washington, Orange, or Green townships and have gotten a letter from Grid Growth it would be a good idea to attend.

Be on the lookout for future meetings as well to discuss this project. As always don’t hesitate to call me if you have any questions or need help. 937-726-8247 Mack
