The -Richland Regional Airport project was a success because of the hard work and open communication of the S-R Airport Board Authority, Corland Construction, LLC, Cape Air/Nantucket Airlines, and KLJ Engineering. We are always proud to work alongside this team and want to share a special thanks to Lonnie and Justin from Corland Construction for their efforts on this addition and renovation.

We were excited to gift a photograph from local artist Judd Burman Photography to the airport to display in their new space. We wish safe travels to all who pass through the Sidney-Richland Regional Airport!

U.S. Senator Steve Daines is set to introduce legislation to support Yellowstone Airport and Sidney-Richland Airport to benefit Montana jobs, tourism sector and the economy.

While mowing our perimeter road, a task that is routinely done at the airport, a small brush fire was ignited on the approach end of Runway 11. An unfortunate reminder of just how dry it is this year. The fire was contained swiftly and did not jump outside of the airport. Thank you to the Sidney Fire Department for a quick response.

Today Cape Air introduced us to their brand new airplane, the Tecnam P2012. The plane was specifically designed for Cape Air and should take over the Sidney to Billings route over the next month with their first revenue flight being on Friday. Some new features include:
-30% cabin space, 2 pilots, 9 passengers
-state of the art Garmin avionics
-20% larger baggage space
-Italian leather seats
-every seat is equipped with storage under the seat, a USB port and headphone jack
