All Shelby County Libraries will be closed on Monday, May 25 in honor of the holiday and will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday.

Heads up, book lovers!

The Jackson Center Memorial Community Library parking lot will be unavailable Tuesday, May 26 through Sunday, May 31 while Community Days is being set-up. Feel free to park across the street in the school parking lot when visiting the library.

The library will be open Tuesday & Wednesday for all your reading needs, but we’ll be closed Friday & Saturday so everyone can enjoy the fun!

🌎⛏️🤎We are really excited to "Unearth" some fun at our Summer Reading Conservation Storytimes this summer! Learn about landforms, create with playdoh and create a changing landscape with our Augmented Reality Sandbox! 🗻⛱️🏝️💦

We will be lending our AR sandbox to the Shelby County Libraries locations through the summer so kids (and adults alike) can interact with the sandbox before and after the storytimes! The tentative schedule for the AR sandbox at the libraries is:

Step into the magic at our Fairy Garden Party at the Russia Community Library! Children will enjoy a story, tasty snacks, and the chance to create their own fairy garden to take home—complete with fairy wings, a flower crown, and a wand. Adults attend free with a child. Registration is required in person or by calling the library.
