Darke County in west central Ohio...
Northwestern Miami County in west central Ohio...
* Until 330 PM EDT.
* At 241 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Ansonia,
moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include...
Piqua, Greenville, Versailles, Covington, Newport, Bradford, Union
City, Pleasant Hill, Ansonia, Webster, Russia, Gettysburg, North
Star, Rossburg, Union Corners, Polo, Darke County Airport, Rose
Hill, State Route 47 at US Route 127, and Eldora Speedway.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
