Shrewsbury will be very busy this weekend with the Boy Scout Jamboree/Merit Badge Weekend. Approximately 200 Scouts and Leaders from different troops will participate in camping out, learning skills and satisfying Merit Badge requirements. Sweeney Park, the Scouthouse (Playground Avenue), Shrewsbury Fire Company, Christ Lutheran Church and Shrewsbury Borough Building will have foot and car traffic all weekend. Please drive carefully around the Scouts and welcome them to Shrewsbury. The congested areas will be on Main Street, Playground Avenue, Sunset Drive, Forrest Avenue, and West Railroad Avenue. Let's make sure everyone is safe and is able to enjoy the busy weekend. See less
