Two weeks ago today, I had the privilege of speaking to a group of amazing 8th graders at CMCTS as they prepared for high school. ☺️📚

Growing up in this community and returning to encourage the next generation was a full-circle moment. I reminded them that their circumstances do not define their future and that self-love, confidence, and education can open doors they never imagined. ✨

Representation matters. Sometimes students just need to see someone who comes from where they come from and chose to keep going. 🙌🏾💜

Thank you once again to Ms. Lisa Taylor, Dr. Morgan Dallas, and the CMCTS staff for granting me with such an opportunity! 🙏🏾

State Meeting is officially complete, and I'm feeling more prepared, excited, and GRATEFUL than ever for competition week! Learning what's ahead made it all feel so real. 👑

The best part? Reuniting with my girls!🩷
Nothing like being surrounded by such inspiring women.
