Shreveport Red River Lions Club

Shreveport Red River Lions Club We are a service organization in Louisiana District 8L which includes the Shreveport/Bossier City area.

We meet every 3rd Tuesday at 6pm at Notini's Restaurant on Airline Drive in Bossier City, La. The Red River Lions Club supports the La Lions Childrens Summer Camp, the Louisiana Eye Foundation and several local community charities. As a community service club, we put on events to raise funds for these local projects along with providing free sight examinations for our community and used eyeglasses collections to help others see better

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a Friday morning!

A heartfelt thank to GUMBO - Games Uniting Mind and Body for allowing the Shreveport Red River Lions Club to be part of such a meaningful and inspiring event.

Today was all about celebrating the incredible athletes who showed up with determination, joy, courage, and heart. It was a beautiful reminder that sports are about so much more than competition. They’re about community, confidence, perseverance, and fun.

We were honored to be there to cheer them on, share information about Louisiana Lions Camp, and witness such an uplifting day. The weather was perfect, but the athletes were truly the sunshine of the event.

The Shreveport Red River Lions Club had an absolute blast joining the Bossier Little League for their Chalenger League Trunk or Treat event! What an incredible evening filled with smiles, laughter, and community spirit.

My Brothers Keeper Motorcycle Club contributed another very generous $10,000 donation this weekend to the Louisiana Lions Camp! That makes their total donations for this year $40,000 to the camp! 🎉 With their help and other wonderful supporters of the Lions Camp we can accommodate more children at camp at mo coats to parents.
