Shreveport Police to Host Fishing Camp 2026 at Cross Lake

The Shreveport Police Department’s Community Oriented Policing Bureau is excited to announce the return of the annual Fishing Camp for local youth and families.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until noon at the Shreveport Police Cross Lake Patrol, located at 2900 Municipal Pier Road.

Children ages 6 and up are invited to come out, cast a line, and make lasting memories with Shreveport Police officers and members of the community. The event is designed to promote positive interaction, outdoor recreation, and family fun in a safe and welcoming environment.
