Judge Sheva Sims earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Dillard University before working as a mathematics teacher.

She later earned her law degree from the Southern University Law Center.
Teacher. Attorney. Judge. Mentor.

Every chapter of her journey has been centered on education, discipline and service. The people's Judge.

The Honorable Judge Sheva Sims is a lifelong Shreveport resident with 32 years of legal and judicial experience. First elected to Shreveport City Court, Division D, in 2011, she was re-elected in 2014 and again in 2020 without opposition.

Her experience is extensive. Her commitment is personal. Her service is rooted right here in Shreveport.
