Campaign signs and marketing are expensive. I haven't said anything, but today was the third time I've been contacted, informing me that my campaign signs have mysteriously disappeared.

While most of my campaign signs are in the yards of people I pray to represent for the next four years on the school board, the rest of them are placed strategically in places where other candidates also have their signs, and none of their signs have been tampered with.

The majority of my campaign has been self-funded. While I know tensions are high and the political season is starting to ramp up, it is my prayer for the next four months that we can all run our races, enjoy meeting and talking with our community, and allow the people of Shreveport/Caddo Parish to make their voices heard in November.

To my supporters, thank you... thank you for letting me know. However, if you see someone tampering with my signs, please do not run after them; that is not safe. I look forward to hitting the streets again later this weekend and throughout the summer to connect with all of you.

This past weekend was a long, but worthwhile experience. We took on our first round of canvassing; and while being effective on the ground, we were just as effective, or in some cases, more effective on social media.

We spent the day walking neighborhoods throughout District 2, knocking on more than 100 doors, listening to residents, sharing my vision for our schools, and hearing directly from families about their hopes and concerns. Those conversations matter. They remind me why I entered this race in the first place.

The response online was equally powerful. Campaign content generated more than 17,000 views, over 3,000 engagements, and reached thousands of people beyond my existing supporters. Nearly 90% of those views came from people who were not already following my page. That tells me our message is spreading, our movement is growing, and more people are joining the conversation about the future of District 2.

I am grateful for every resident who opened their door, stopped to talk, shared a post, left a comment, or simply took the time to listen. This campaign isn’t about me—it’s about building stronger schools, supporting our teachers, investing in our students, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.

We’re building momentum. We’re building trust. Most importantly, we’re building a movement.

Let’s keep going.

Leadership is about more than titles. It’s about impact. Serving on the Shreveport Human Relations Commission, and now as Chairman, means standing for fairness, accountability, and opportunity for every resident.
Because strong communities build strong schools.

What does a fair and supportive school system look like to you?

Thank you to everyone who came out, listened, supported, and spent your evening with us today. Your encouragement, conversations, and belief in this campaign continue to inspire me every single day.

I truly appreciate my parents, family, friends, colleagues, and community supporters for showing up and showing love. This movement is about people, progress, and building a stronger future together.

We’re just getting started, and I’m looking forward to an exciting and fun summer connecting with more families, neighborhoods, and voters across the community.

Let’s keep the momentum going.

isn’t just a slogan. It’s the blueprint. Every decision should answer one question:

👉 Does this give our students an advantage or not? If it doesn’t, why are we doing it?

Simple.
What’s one change that would give students in District 2 a real advantage?
