The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is on schedule with the preparation and distribution of 2025 property tax notices. The Caddo tax roll was approved on November 19, 2025, and printing of tax notices began on November 28.

Between December 1 and December 6, approximately 60,000 tax notices were mailed, and an additional 40,000 notices will be mailed today. The online portal has been available to collect payments since November 29, and as of December 8, CPSO has already received $3.7 million in property tax payments.

This year’s process is following the standard timeline for CPSO. By comparison, the 2024 tax roll was approved on November 20, 2024, but bill printing did not begin until December 12. An amended tax roll received on December 18 resulted in a later-than-normal bill distribution. No such delays have occurred this year.

We have several convenient payment options available. Please note, a customer does not have to provide a bill to make a payment. You can pay in person, by mail with the account number included on the check or money order, or through Bill Pay without a convenience fee. Payments that include a convenience fee can be made by phone at 833-538-8539, online at www.caddosheriff.org, or through the CPSO Tax Department App.

For added convenience, the Caddo Parish Tax Department will accept payments on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the following locations:

• Sheriff’s Safety Town, 8910 Jewella Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71118

• Caddo Parish Sheriff’s North Substation, 11411 LA-1, Oil City, LA 71061

We will accept checks, money orders, and credit cards at both locations. A fee will be applied to credit card transactions
