2026 Community Survey Closes Tomorrow

The 2026 Community Survey is open through Friday, June 26! As a community member, you are encouraged to take a few moments to share feedback on Village programs, services, initiatives, and the priorities that matter most to you.

As with previous surveys, this year’s survey covers a wide range of topics including overall satisfaction with the Village, parking, taxes and fees, infrastructure, environmental efforts, communication methods, community services, and more. Your feedback helps us better understand what is working well, where improvements can be made, and how we can continue planning for Shorewood’s future.

Survey responses will remain confidential, and each household is asked to complete one survey. The results from the survey will help guide future Village planning, identify community priorities, and allow the Village to compare trends from previous surveys completed in 2008, 2013, 2016, 2019, and 2023. Whether you’ve lived in Shorewood for decades or are new to the community, your input matters. Please take a moment to complete the survey by Friday, June 26 and help shape the future of Shorewood! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

Shorewood’s Neighborhood Greenways: Presentation and Walking Tour

Join us on Thursday, July 9th from 9-11am to learn about the proposed network of neighborhood greenways in Shorewood, go on a short walking tour, and give Village staff your thoughts. Neighborhood greenways are streets that are designed to prioritize people walking and bicycling using a combination of design elements such as signage, roadway markings, or traffic calming infrastructure, such as traffic circles, medians, chicanes, or curb extensions. These elements enhance the biking and walking experience and encourage lower motor vehicle speeds and volumes.
This presentation is part of the Village’s multi-day “Greenway Days” engagement strategy to educate residents about neighborhood greenways and get their feedback on how they think neighborhood greenways could work in Shorewood. This project was initiated by the recently adopted Pedestrian and Bicycle Master Plan and in compliance with its Complete Streets Policy. Learn more about Shorewood's neighborhood greenway project by watching this short video.

If you have any questions about the presentation or project, you can reach out to Bart Griepentrog, Planning & Development Director, at [email protected], or check out the project website at https://www.villageofshorewood.org/1329/Neighborhood-Greenways.

Please RSVP by emailing [email protected] or calling the SRC office (414) 847-2727
