The humble beginnings of a BIG goal.

The Pop Tab Challenge is officially underway in Shorewood, and we've already got some momentum. One bag down, many more to go!

How to Participate:

• Save pop tabs from soda cans, soup cans, and other aluminum containers
• Drop them off at Shorewood Village Hall by Friday, August 14

Fun fact: We're also inviting residents to participate in an Anything But a Bucket Challenge.

Toolboxes, wagons, toy chests, mailboxes, firefighter helmets, sports equipment, and other creative containers are all fair game. If you already have a collection started at home, or just want a fun way to show off your pop tabs throughout the challenge, we'd love to see it.

Get creative, snap a photo of your unique collection container, and send it to us to join the fun.

Start saving those pop tabs Shorewood. Visit our website for more information:
www.shorewoodil.gov/PopTabChallenge

The official weigh in will take place during Channahon's Three Rivers Fest on Sunday, August 16. May the best community win!
