Put your skills to the test on your day off from school! Join us for Solve the Rubik’s Cube and learn step-by-step how to master the classic puzzle. 🙌

Each participant gets their own Rubik’s Cube to keep, plus a custom instruction packet so you can keep practicing at home. And if you get stuck later, optional follow-up support is available by email or video chat!

Walking, biking, and rolling are active and healthy ways to move around the community – whether it’s for fun, transportation, or exercise. The Village just released their Draft Neighborhood Greenways Plan that has identified walking, biking, and rolling projects to increase safety and comfort for all ages and abilities. Check it out and give your feedback!

We loved seeing our young cheerleaders out there cheering on the team, showing off their hard work, and being part of such a special Shorewood tradition!!

📸 THROWBACK THURSDAY!

Dancing the night away is nothing new! 💃🕺

We found these throwback photos of Shorewood kids showing off their moves, and it got us thinking about all the dances, celebrations and memories made by generations of Shorewood students.

And this weekend, a new group gets their turn! ❤️

Homecoming is this weekend!! We hope all of our Shorewood students have an amazing time making memories, hitting the dance floor and celebrating together.

❤️ Would you know what to do in an emergency?

When an infant or child is choking, not breathing, or experiencing a medical emergency, knowing what to do can make all the difference.

Our Emergency Preparedness course gives parents, caregivers, foster parents, babysitters and anyone who works with children the opportunity to learn and practice essential life-saving skills.

Participants will learn how to:
🫶 Respond to infant and child emergencies
🫶 Recognize and respond to choking
🫶 Perform CPR
🫶 Use an AED
🫶 Build confidence through hands-on practice

Do you love working with young children and helping them build confidence, coordination and a love for movement? Shorewood Recreation is looking for a Tiny Tumblers Coach to lead our upcoming Saturday gymnastics classes! Opportunities for future classes as well!!

Tiny Tumblers introduces children to gymnastics in a fun, welcoming environment. Participants will become comfortable with their bodies while exploring new and challenging movements.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children, creating a positive class environment and encouraging little ones as they learn and try new things!
